Del Monte (Spain) is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support its Logistics department, on a permanent contract, starting ASAP.

Reporting to the Coordinator, Logistics the successful candidate will have to assist the department in various missions:

  • Oversee and ensure administrative compliance of import and transport documents in Iberia;
  • Effectively track port arrivals as well as customs’ clearances;
  • Implement a streamlined approach to enhance efficiency and control costs at the assigned ports;
  • Generate and submit periodical reports such as SII, Intrastat and plastics’ declarations to the AEAT;
  • Manage the office procurement;
  • Follow and meet reporting deadlines set by the Logistics Coordinator;
  • Follow policies and procedures set by Company.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ overall experience in Logistics/Customs;
  • Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office 365;
  • Fluent written and spoken English;
  • Experience in the industry/sector is considered an asset;
  • Relevant experience in logistics, customs, supply chain, or a related field may be considered equivalent.
